Hearing to Present and Receive Comments on the Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District’s Proposed Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget – OPEN HEARING; RECEIVE PUBLIC COMMENT; CLOSE HEARING AND DIRECT STAFF TO CONSIDER ALL COMMENTS RECEIVED IN PREPARATION OF ITS FINAL PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021 BUDGET FOR BOARD CONSIDERATION AT THE SEPTEMBER 3, 2020 GOVERNING BOARD MEETING.

2020 DMV Grant Program Recommended Projects – APPROVE THE NINE 2020 DMV PROGRAM AGREEMENTS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE AGREEMENTS ONCE THEY ARE EXECUTED AND RETURNED BY THE RESPECTIVE GRANTEE.

Proposed Agreement with Tehachapi Unified School District to provide up to $110,000 from AB 923 funds for a new school bus – APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT NO. 07-010-2020 WITH TEHACHAPI UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A NEW SCHOOL BUS.

Proposed Amendment to Agreement 09-001-2018 with Joel Craig, Environmental Consultant, to increase contract amount for Data Processing, Training, et al. at Air Monitoring Station – APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT NO. 07-011-2020a WITH JOEL CRAIG, ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT.

Proposed Agreement with the Kern County Fire Department to develop an Automated Burn Permitting Portal – APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT NO. 07-012-2020 WITH THE KERN COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT.
