NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District (District) Board of Directors regular meeting held on September 14, 2017, has been adjourned due to lack of quorum, in accordance with Government Code section 54955. The District Board of Directors regular meeting will convene to address and complete the items as were indicated on the posted agenda for the September 14, 2017 meeting as follows:

Hearing to Consider Adoption of Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District’s Fiscal Year 2017-18 Budget - OPEN HEARING; RECEIVE PUBLIC COMMENT; CLOSE HEARING; AND ADOPT THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017-18.

Proposed Agreement with American Ecotech LLC to provide Annual Maintenance and Support – APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT NO.  09-002-2017 WITH AMERICAN ECOTECH LLC.

Proposed Agreement with U.S. Borax Inc. to install EV charging station - APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT NO.  07-006-2017 WITH U. S. BORAX INC.

Proposed Agreement with Joel Craig, Environmental Consultant for Data Processing, Training, et al at the Ridgecrest Air Monitoring Station - APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT NO.  07-001-2017 WITH JOEL CRAIG, ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) from California Air Pollution Control Officers Association for the District to receive EPA 105 Grant Funds – AUTHORIZE THE AIR POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER TO SIGN THE MOU AGREEMENT NO. 09-003-2017 WITH THE CALIFORNIA AIR POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICERS ASSOCIATION WHEN IT IS RECEIVED, PROVIDED IT IS IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE SAME FORM AS THE DRAFT PROVIDED HEREIN, AND AUTHORIZE THE APCO TO DO ALL OTHER ACTS NECESSARY TO RECEIVE FUNDS FROM THE EPA 105 GRANT PROGRAM.

State Subvention Funds – AUTHORIZE THE AIR POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER TO SIGN AND SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FOR STATE SUBVENTION FUNDS AS A RURAL DISTRICT, PROVIDED IT IS IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE SAME FORM AS THE DRAFT PROVIDED HEREIN, AND TO TAKE ALL OTHER STEPS NECESSARY TO RECEIVE FUNDS.
